The Oconomowoc Area Baseball Club would like to thank The Greater Milwaukee Foundation and The Oconomowoc Area Foundation for their grant from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation's Scherffius Fund. The grant will allow the Oconomowoc Area Baseball Club to make various field and facility improvements to the baseball fields in the area, including some new bleachers at Roosevelt Field. The current bleachers are over 40 years old! The new bleachers will provide a safe, fun enviornment for fans to enjoy games at one of the best fields in Wisconsin.
The Greater Milwaukee Foundation is a family of over 900 individual charitable funds, each created by donors to serve the local charitable causes of their choice. Grants from these funds serve people throughout Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee and Washington counties. Started in 1915, the Foundation is one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the U.S.

2008 OABC Saturday Baseball Clinics
Baseball players are invited to participate in the Oconomowoc Area Baseball Club (OABC) 2008 Baseball Clinic. These clinics begin January 5 (2:00 pm) and run every Saturday up through March. They are open to all High School students that plan on trying out for the 2008 Freshman, Junior Varsity or Varsity Baseball Teams. In addition, this clinic is open to all players from Coach Turner's 12 U team and Coach Klink's 14U team.
This clinic is subsidized by the OABC and the volunteer staff, so it makes the cost low to encourage the Oconomowoc players to improve in the off season. Typically this would cost $30 to $50 per day per player. We have plans of:
$10 per day
$35-40 per month per player.
$75 for all 13 Saturdays
The World Class Sports Facility is located in the Hartland business park 10 minute drive from Oconomowoc. This facility was chosen because of the quality of the indoor facility, 50 yards of turf, two batting cages and pitching mounds. Its a great set up for an indoor baseball training facility. The Staff is made up of mostly former Oconomowoc High Baseball Players, many of them have played in college and professionally.
Players must bring this signed waver from their parent or guardian. Contact Dan Huffaker at 262-567-7985 or Sean Smith at 262-893-0364 with any questions.

In 1997 the Oconomowoc Area Baseball Club, Inc. (originally Oconomowoc Parents For Baseball) was established. The purpose of the organization is to enhance the baseball program in the Oconomowoc Area School District area. Is is not an organization exclusive to the City of Oconomowoc. All parents of participating youth or any participating player 18 years or older are considered members of the organization. No fees are required for membership. Regular meetings are held monthly during the year. Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings.
In keeping with the purpose of the organization, the Oconomowoc Area Baseball Club (OABC) has provided thousands of dollars since 1997, upgrading area baseball facilities and sponsoring teams from age 10 through the Five O's adult team. The club has invested thousands to improve baseball facilities at Roosevelt Park, Oconomowoc High School, The YMCA at Pabst Farms, and Ski Slide Field in Ixonia. In addition the club has provided donations to purchase equipment and uniforms for the high school teams and the summer teams, including the Senior and Junior Legion teams, and the Five O's. Recently, a new batting tunnel at Roosevelt Park was completed with the assistance of funds provided by The Les Winger Fund. This coming season the club will sponsor a number of teams from ages 10 and up through high school, legion and Five O's.
